Our client is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager for a full-time opportunity in Irving, Texas.

This role offers a hybrid schedule (2 days/week on-site).  Candidates must reside within commuting distance to the office.

OVERVIEW:


The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire top talent, specifically within civil/structural and bridge engineering. This role manages the full recruitment cycle and collaborates with hiring managers to ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders.  This Manager supervises a 3-person team, collaborates closely with department heads and stakeholders, and buildings relationships with external recruitment agencies and other vendors. Occasional travel to recruiting events and other office locations is required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and execute effective recruiting strategies to meet staffing needs.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and relationship management.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions.
  • Utilize recruitment tools and platforms to engage with qualified candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as required to meet business needs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, employment laws, and recruiting best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and HR-related software.
  • Ability to analyze recruitment data to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in a related field, HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.), experience with DEI practices, and expertise in employer branding strategies.
