Talascend is seeking qualified candidates to apply for an HVAC Technician position located in Greer, South Carolina
RESPONSIBILITIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining and repairing air handling units exhaust fans fume hoods fan coil units reheat coils and other associated mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshooting customer service calls for temperature comfort inside our buildings.
- Maintaining accuracy of system documentation and limited support of new installation projects may be required.
- Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary

- Vocation degree program with technical courses related to the field preferred
- 3 years field experience with trade school training a or 6 years total field experience.
- Certifications and Licenses a HVAC license a EPA certification a Driver license
- Must have good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Good general computer skills with knowledge in E-mail Internet a Microsoft Word is a plus for this position.
- Ability to effectively use computers and computer programs including use of Microsoft Office Suite a Skill in use of the internet to navigate to and use web based applications.
- Ability to use handheld electronic devices PDA Blackberry cell phone etc.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words rules of composition and grammar.
