Talascend is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Facilities Technician  position located in Greer, SC. 

1st Shift - Sun Mon Tues Wed Thurs Fri - 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Responsibilities & Requirements:
  • The main function of a Facilities Technician is to provide general maintenance support for the assigned buildings.
  • Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe secure and well-maintained. i
  • Troubleshoot power HVAC system and controls and mechanical systems.
  • Maintain general amp preventative maintenance carpentry plumbing systems and vendor management.
  •  Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed.
  • Move office furniture machinery equipment and other materials as requested.
  • Interpersonal skills attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one time.
  • Basic knowledge of machines and tools including their designs uses repair and maintenance.
  • Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. 0-2 years experience required.
  • Facilities Technician 1 Day to Day responsibility
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Follow direction Assist fellow team members
  • Ability to use hand and electrical tools
  • Ability to make minor concrete repair
  • Ability to use man lift with training ie. boom lift / scissor lift
  • Ability to use Microsoft office / smart phone
  • Possess valid DL Fluent in English
