Talascend is currently seeking a Lead Materials Coordinator for a contract opportunity in Tempe, AZ.
SUMMARY:
As a Materials Coordinator at our company, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials and ensuring the availability of inventory to support production and customer demand during a factory transition. You will play a critical role in utilizing SAP Transaction Codes to create deliveries, Stock Transfer Orders (STOs), and manage inventory transitions between sites. This position requires 1-2 years of SAP experience in a production environment.

SUMMARY:
As a Materials Coordinator at our company, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials and ensuring the availability of inventory to support production and customer demand during a factory transition. You will play a critical role in utilizing SAP Transaction Codes to create deliveries, Stock Transfer Orders (STOs), and manage inventory transitions between sites. This position requires 1-2 years of SAP experience in a production environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize SAP Transaction Codes to create deliveries as appropriate, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Create Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) as needed to consolidate material to 1017 and support production requirements.
- Resolve material quantity discrepancies by coordinating with the appropriate personnel to adjust inventory quantity and/or sales order quantity, avoiding excess material.
- Move parts that are outside of the normal process as needed to support production schedules.
- Enter STOs to move Material Planning Systems (MPS) and inventory as required.
- Assist in managing inventory transitions between sites, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 1-2 years of experience working with SAP in a production environment.
- Proficiency in utilizing SAP Transaction Codes for material coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
