Talascend is currently seeking a Journeyman HVAC Maintenance Mechanic for a contract opportunity located in Pontiac, MI.
OVERVIEW:
The role of the Journeyman HVAC Mechanic is to provide the necessary skill sets required to perform the maintenance and repairs to preserve the physical assets of the Building Systems and Equipment under the direction of the Facility and Operations Managers.
This is a 3rd Shift opening. This would be for 3rd shift from 10:30 pm- 7:00 am and it would be temp to hire. This is a Union position that offers UAW benefits: Medical Vision and Dental.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- 8-10 plus years of facility maintenance experience preferred.
- Journeyman certification is a must in HVAC Electrical Machine Repair or Mechanical craft areas.
- Experience with pumps motors speed and feed systems hydraulics
- Some experience with controller programs including Allen-Bradley Fanuc and Siemens HVAC/R Heating Ventilating Air conditioning and Refrigeration: Indoor Air Quality Temperature Control and Scavenge Exhaust Systems.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication detail-oriented and must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of maintenance systems such as MAXIMO helpful Mechanical Systems.
