Sr Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer
SUMMARY:
As a Sr Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer, you will influence the planning and designing of manufacturing processes. You will determine equipment and tools needed by the team to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification for both existing and new processes. You will maximize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Support daily production activities and drive producibility improvement projects for new products in a challenging environment. Our team develops new or modifies processes, defines process equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) inertial sensors, pressure sensors, and magnetic sensors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide test and manufacturing support for MEMS inertial, magnetic and pressure sensor products.
- Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends and drive yield improvements. Statistically analyze data to help evaluate and qualify process and product changes.
- Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.
- Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
- Assist development of new products.
- Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
- Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.
- Test products & software
