Senior QA Automation Engineer
OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 5 years of hands-on experience in web automation. Ideal candidate is passionate about quality engineering, automation frameworks, and delivering high-quality applications at scale.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Python.
- Build robust UI automation scripts using Selenium for web applications.
- Develop and execute API and backend automation using Pytest and Robot Framework.
- Validate REST APIs, including status codes, request/response payloads, and data integrity.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across platforms.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure end-to-end test coverage.
- Integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab Runner.
- Use Git for version control and maintain clean, scalable code.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- 5–8 years of experience in QA automation
- Strong Python scripting skills
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Pytest, and Robot Framework
- Expertise in API testing and automation
- Experience with web automation is mandatory; mobile automation (Android/iOS) is a strong plus
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab Runner
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
- Python certification is a plus
- Prior experience working in Agile environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
