A Talascend client in Casa Grande, AZ has an immediate need for a Data Analyst. This is a contract role and the position will be on-site.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with senior management, technical and client teams to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage, and analysis strategies.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
- Design, implement, automate, and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
- Generate routine and ad hoc reports based on business requests.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as data science, statistics, computer science, information systems or related field required 0-2 years applicable experience required.
- Proficient in using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Visier, SAP Cloud Analytics, or similar platforms to design and present data insights.
- High level of expertise in Excel, including advanced functions, formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques.
- Strong ability to translate complex data sets into actionable business insights using visualization tools.
- Deep understanding of data manipulation, storage, and analysis strategies, with the ability to integrate various data systems.
- Experience in designing and automating data pipelines for enterprise-scale ETL processes.
