Process Technician
SUMMARY:
As a Process Technician, you will perform manufacturing and operational tasks for which you have been trained, in accordance with the team's requirements, as well as company and statutory standards (e.g., Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Management Systems). This includes the manufacture and assembly of components and sub-assemblies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performing weekly maintenance on equipment to ensure it remains safe and reliable
Standing for extended periods of time during shifts
Lifting up to 50 lbs on occasion
Working independently as well as part of a team to get the job done
Safely handling compressed gas cylinders and other containers of potentially hazardous chemicals
Following production plans to meet customer requirements
Resolving team conflicts in a professional manner to ensure high standards of collaboration and teamwork
Participating in cost reduction and operational improvements to meet customer needs
Willingness to work a second or third shift, depending on business requirements
This is an entry-level position, and we are willing to train the right person.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED
Eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Experience working with compressed gases in industrial processes
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Strong mechanical aptitude
