Junior Cyber Security Engineer
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have advanced professional proficiency in Korean and English reading, writing, and speaking.
LOCATION: 100% on-site in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.
SUMMARY:
The main function of an IT Project/Program Manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle security incident tickets (majority will be AdHoc).
- Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
- Manage backup, security and user help system.
- Operating smaller budget projects.
- Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
- Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
- Provide users with technical support for computer problems.
- 50% on engineering tactics, 50% on hands on strategy
REQUIREMENTS:
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
- 1+ year professional experience required.
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security.
TOP 3 SKILLS : Incident response, Intrusion detection, Cloud Security
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- PMI or PMP certification.
- CISSP certification.
- Understanding & technical knowledge of IDPS, VOP solutions, Phishing campaign, Vulnerability scans, etc.
- Proficient with MAC and OS; Windows environment is primary.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experienced with penetration testing and techniques.
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities.
- Understand patch management.
- Knowledge of firewalls, antivirus and IDPS concepts.
