Field Service Quality Technician

Talascend is currently seeking multiple Field Quality Technicians for a contract opportunity. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Position requires 100% travel; within the 48 contiguous states. 
• The expectation is that the candidates selected could be working 2 weeks to a few months per site depending on the scope of the project. They will be able to get an estimate from the manager when they are moving projects.
• 40-58 hour work week: M-F 7am - 5:30pm; Saturday 7am - End time may vary
• Performs mechanical and electrical audits of the Installation processes.
• Able to identify issues where Installation has not met the specification for the purchased system.
• Works under the general supervision of Quality Assurance Supervisor and Quality Assurance Team Lead.
• Works under general supervision on duties and tasks in auditing of Mechanical and Electrical Installation processes.
• Technology skills to look up processes (Microsoft Office)
• Performs Mechanical and Electrical audit functions related to Conveyor Installation, relying on prior experience or written policies and standards.
• Shall have experience identifying electrical components from layout drawing.
• General knowledge of conveyor installation.
• Shall perform housekeeping and general clean up duties.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Minimum required tools (supplied by company): 1.) Tape Measure 2.) Level 3.) Flash light
• Solid Computer Experience - they must be skilled in MS Office (Word and Excel), should be comfortable working with Email (Outlook), will be using Intranet Usage to look up processes and procedures. Preferred not required
• Experience with OZARK is preferred
• The candidate MUST have mechanical or electrical application experience.
• Candidates could have machinery maintenance, electrician, or mechanic experience.
