Commercial Duct Mechanics
Talascend is currently seeking Commercial Duct Mechanics for a contract opportunity located in Tampa, FL.
OVERVIEW:
We are looking for reliable Commercial Duct Mechanics to install, maintain, and repair ductwork in commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience with HVAC systems and a strong attention to detail.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install and repair ductwork for commercial HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Measure and cut ductwork to specifications.
- Assemble and secure ducts using proper tools and techniques.
- Ensure all installations meet safety and building code standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with commercial HVAC ductwork installation and repair.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of safety practices and building codes.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials.
