Talascend is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our E-Commerce Sr. Mobile App Analytics Consultant position located in Mountain View, CA. 

DURATION: One-year with possible extension
LOCATION: Mountain View, CA; On-Site/Hybrid Role

OVERVIEW:


TOP SKILLS: SQL, Tableau, Strong Presentation and Storytelling Skills, Web Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics.

This position will focus on strong native Mobile niche Analytics. and web analytics for the customer journey. This is a new role for a start-up area. Candidate will perform foundational reporting, track speed, number of customers, etc. Will build strategies to grow the health and performance of the application. Breakdown of duties would be 35% Technical with SQL queries and Google Platform; 40% providing Analytics/Root-Cause Analysis; 25% Reporting Functions with Visualizations. Important to have proficiency with a strong understanding of how analytics are being tracked - foundations from ground up with analysis skills. Key attributes are Mobile App experience and e-Commerce experience. Must have knowledge of how a product works, how fast the app is running, and how to improve performance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Lead end-to-end Mobile App Analytics, Reporting and UX for e-Commerce Business.
  • Web Analytics: Customer Journey, Page Analytics, Pathing, Search Analytics, etc.
  • Strong proficiency in Communication and Presentation Skills, Data Analysis, Set-up A/B testing practices/ Pre-post analysis, Web Analytics tools such as: Omniture, Firebase, DXT, etc.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive web analytic data strategy to optimize UX, CX, web performance and insights.
  • Collaborate with Business Units, Category, Product, Merchandising and UX Teams to create and deliver analytic Reporting and Insights.
  • Build and manage Best-in-Class Web Reporting.
  • Utilize SQL to perform data analysis to extract valuable insights from large data sets such as Click Stream, and transactional data.
  • Create and maintain internal mapping tables such as product hierarchy, Dates, Adobe classifications.
  • Strong problem solving skills, excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, to convey complex insights to diverse Stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong technical expertise in Tableau/SQL and bee well-versed with Adobe Analytics.
  • Drive data thought leadership and create end-to-end Web Reporting Standards.
  • Proactively Identify gaps and provide tagging requirements (Build governance in maintaining eVars, Props and Custom Events).
  • Implement Best Practices for analytics, staying informed of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance our capabilities.
  • Responsible to provide weekly business performance review and insights, coordinating with product.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in business, Data Science or related field is required.
  • 7-8+ years of related experience in one or more of the functional areas: Business Analytics, Mobile, Web Analytic roles. Mobile App experience is required.
  • 4+ years of experience in e-Commerce or Retail or Consumer Electronics industry or Management Consulting experience is required.
  • Top skills: SQL queries, Tableau, Presentation Skills/Storyteller, Web Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with high proficiency in data analysis utilizing Excel and Tableau preferred.
  • Prior experience leading small teams with the ability to engage and develop talent.
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to collaborate and build effective partnerships at all levels of the organization.
  • Structured and process-oriented approach to solve business and operational problems with a highly Agile approach.
  • Operate seamlessly in a matrix organization; manage Stakeholders across multiple lines of business.
