Lead Planner
Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule (2-days/week in office) and reside a commutable distance to the office. No relocation support available.
Overview:
The Lead Planner will oversee planning and scheduling activities during the EPC phase of the Natrium Advanced Reactor Project. This role involves coordinating with various teams, managing schedules, and ensuring adherence to project milestones.
Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering teams in developing and maintaining project schedules.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate engineering activities into the Integrated Master Control Schedule (IMCS) managed in Primavera P6.
- Coordinate cross-system and cross-project logic ties in the schedule.
- Develop and organize engineering scope schedule fragments (fragnets) for inclusion in the IMCS.
- Conduct project level integrated reviews and compile three-week look-ahead activities.
- Analyze critical path and constraints to recommend solutions for achieving key milestones.
- Develop What-If scenarios and recovery plans for project activity slippage and change requests.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 13+ years of professional experience, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of engineering and construction management practices as well as EPC scheduling and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of critical path method (CPM) scheduling and advanced experience with Primavera P6 software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and present planning and scheduling products independently.
- Legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
